Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 08, 2026

This page explains what data Ailovyu collects from visitors, how that data is used, and what choices you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate. If something is unclear, contact us at contact@ailovyu.com.

Who We Are

Ailovyu is an independent blog covering AI tools and workflows. Our website address is https://ailovyu.com/.

What Data We Collect

Data you give us directly

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address. We do not require a name, phone number, or any other personal information to subscribe.

If you contact us by email, we receive whatever information you include in your message.

Data collected automatically

When you visit Ailovyu, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect:

  • Your IP address (typically anonymized before storage)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • The page you came from (referrer URL)
  • The pages you visit on our site and how long you spend on them
  • The time and date of your visit

This data is collected in aggregate and used to understand how our content is performing. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Cookies

Ailovyu uses cookies in the following ways:

Analytics cookies — We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns on the site. Google Analytics sets cookies that track session data and page visits. This data is anonymized and processed by Google. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Affiliate tracking cookies — Some links on Ailovyu are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, the vendor’s website may set a cookie on your browser to track whether a purchase was made within a set window (typically 30 to 90 days). This is handled entirely by the third-party vendor, not by us. We have no access to individual purchase data — we receive only aggregate commission reports.

Essential cookies — Our hosting provider may set cookies necessary for the site to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave.

How We Use Your Data

Email address: Used solely to send the newsletter you signed up for. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.

Analytics data: Used to understand which content is useful to readers, identify technical problems, and make decisions about what to write next. This data is not used for advertising targeting and is not sold.

Contact messages: Used only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add people to our mailing list based on contact form submissions.

Third-Party Services

Ailovyu uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data:

Google Analytics — Website analytics. Google Privacy Policy

Affiliate programs — We participate in affiliate programs including but not limited to Jasper AI, Copy.ai, Grammarly, and others noted in individual articles. Clicking an affiliate link may result in tracking cookies being set by those vendors.

Hosting provider — Our hosting provider may collect server-level data including IP addresses as part of normal hosting operations.

Data Retention

Email subscribers: Your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our active list. Depending on the email platform, a suppression record may be retained to ensure we do not accidentally re-add you.

Analytics data: Retained in Google Analytics for 14 months by default (our current setting). Aggregated, anonymized reports may be retained indefinitely.

Contact messages: Retained in our email inbox for as long as is operationally necessary. We do not maintain a separate database of contact inquiries.

Your Rights

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom (GDPR):

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict how we process your data, and request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@ailovyu.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in California (CCPA):

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. For other requests, contact us at contact@ailovyu.com.

All visitors:

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the browser add-on linked above. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Children’s Privacy

Ailovyu is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

External Links

Our articles contain links to third-party websites, including affiliate links, product pages, and reference sources. Once you leave Ailovyu, this privacy policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Ailovyu after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
